What is PONCALL?
PONCALL is an onchain prediction market interface. Each market asks a question with a YES or NO outcome, a trading deadline, and a defined method for deciding the result. You can explore markets without connecting a wallet.
Markets brings questions together. Catalysts groups related markets around a story or event. Portfolio shows positions associated with your connected wallet. A page being accessible does not mean every market or transaction service is available.
Connect your wallet
Use a compatible EVM browser wallet, such as MetaMask or Rabby. On mobile, open PONCALL inside your wallet’s browser. Choose Connect wallet and review the connection request.
PONCALL supports Robinhood Chain mainnet only: chain ID 4663, with ETH used for network fees. If your wallet is on another chain, choose Switch to Robinhood Chain. Connecting a wallet does not grant permission to spend tokens.
You need ETH on Robinhood Chain for gas and the exact collateral token accepted by the market. A token with the same name on another network is not interchangeable. Verify the network and contract address before transferring funds.
Make your first trade
1. Open a market and read its question, trading deadline, resolution criteria, resolver, collateral address, and fees. Choose YES or NO based on the stated question.
2. Enter an amount. Review the estimated shares, minimum received, and slippage tolerance. Quotes may change as other users trade; displayed probabilities are prices, not forecasts or guarantees.
3. If prompted, approve the collateral amount. Approval authorizes contract spending; it does not purchase a position. Review the separate Buy transaction and sign it only when the details are correct.
4. Wait for confirmation, then check Portfolio. Displayed positions can take longer to update than the wallet receipt because market data follows confirmed blockchain events.
Manage your positions
Portfolio organizes your positions and liquidity. While a market is open, you may sell eligible shares, subject to available liquidity, fees, and your minimum-received setting. A sale may return less than your purchase amount.
Outcome positions are recorded by the market contract and cannot be transferred between wallets. Always use the wallet that holds the position when selling or claiming.
Create a market
Start with a precise question that has a verifiable YES or NO answer. Specify the source of truth and how ambiguous cases should be handled. Avoid vague wording, unverifiable claims, and personal information.
Set the trading close time and resolution time, review the resolver and collateral, and provide initial liquidity. Preview the market, approve collateral if necessary, then sign the creation transaction separately.
Initial liquidity remains locked until settlement. Providing liquidity can lose money; it is not a savings account or a guaranteed return. Creation is subject to the deployed contracts, permitted assets, resolver settings, and service availability.
Resolution and payouts
Check the resolver specified on each market. Manual resolution requires an authorized resolver to propose an outcome and wait for the configured delay. Feed-based markets use their configured data source and contract rules.
After settlement, a winning share pays one unit of the market’s collateral and a losing share pays zero. A cancelled market pays half a unit per YES or NO share, subject to integer rounding. Cancellation does not refund the price you originally paid.
If an outcome has not been finalized within seven days after the resolution time, the contract supports timeout cancellation from the market page. Eligible payouts must be claimed with a wallet transaction; gas is still required.
Prices, fees and risks
Prices displayed in cents mean hundredths of one collateral unit. They do not guarantee a US-dollar value. Review the collateral asset, execution quote, fees, and network gas cost for each transaction.
You can lose your entire position value. Thin liquidity, price changes, collateral depegging, contract vulnerabilities, incorrect resolution, and network or provider outages can affect your funds or your ability to act. Use only amounts you can afford to lose.
Market content and platform documentation are informational. They are not personalized financial, legal, or tax advice. Availability of a market does not establish that participation is permitted where you live.
Protect your wallet
Never share your seed phrase or private key. PONCALL does not need either to connect a wallet. Verify the site address, network, recipient contract, and spending amount in every wallet request.
If you suspect an unsafe approval, review it through your wallet’s approval-management tools. Revoking an approval cannot reverse a completed transaction. Keep transaction hashes for your own records; avoid sharing sensitive wallet information.
When something goes wrong
Wrong network: switch to Robinhood Chain. Wallet not found: enable your extension or use a mobile wallet browser. Rejected request: review the action and try again only if you want to proceed.
Insufficient funds: check both ETH for gas and the accepted collateral on the correct chain. Failed quote: check the market status, amount, liquidity, and slippage. Do not increase slippage without understanding the tradeoff.
Pending transaction: inspect its hash in the chain explorer before retrying. A timeout is not proof of failure. A mined receipt may appear before your portfolio updates.
Unavailable data or paused trading: wait for service recovery. Do not assume missing data means a zero balance. Contract-supported settlement and claims may remain available during a trading pause, but the interface still needs working services to submit them.
